Therapist Information - Speaker Request / Upcoming Events

One of the most rewarding aspects for us at SOS is when we are able to meet and talk with students and therapists face to face. So many times information is conveyed and interviews are conducted over the telephone or via email. SOS enjoys the opportunity to personally meet and talk with you. That is why we attend many state and national conventions, career fairs, as well as schedule dates to speak to university graduate level classes.

At state and national conventions, SOS is interested in talking with new graduate or student therapists about specific job needs and interests. It is never too early to educate yourself about all the options your discipline has to offer! It is also a good time for us to clarify the services we offer and get you the facts about "travel" therapy. If you are a new therapist or student and will be attending an upcoming event where SOS will be represented, we invite you to stop by our booth and talk with us about your job interests. If you would like more detailed information, you may want to begin the process prior to meeting us at convention. You may call or email to set up an appointment for a specific day and time to talk with us. This ensures adequate time and attention to getting your questions answered by SOS.

We are also interested in receiving information about discipline specific (OT, PT, SLP and Audiology) university career fairs or other opportunities for us to talk with new and upcoming clinicians. One service we offer on a limited basis to have Doug Powers, Director of Human Resources, or Sarah Foulks our Speech Consultant, come and speak to classes or student organizations (such as NSSLHA) to educate them about expectations of hiring process, discipline specific regulations and requirements, and industry trends. This time is NOT a recruiting time for SOS. Doug and Sarah are dynamic speakers who are interested in providing students information and education about the business aspect of the therapy field.
